AN ACT to add a new section to the Code of Public Local Laws of
Anne Arundel County (1947 Edition), being Article 2 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Anne Arundel
County", to be under a new sub-title "Mosquito Control", and a
new sub-heading "Mosquito Control Special Taxing District No.
1-A", said new section to be known as Section 391A and to follow
immediately after Section 391 therein, relating to the establish-
ment of a special mosquito control taxing district in the First
Election District of Anne Arundel County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new section be and it is hereby added to the Code of Public
Local Laws of Anne Arundel County (1947 Edition), being Article 2
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Anne Arundel
County", to be under a new sub-title "Mosquito Control", and to be
under a new sub-heading "Mosquito Control Special Taxing District
No. 1-A", said new section to be known as Section 391A and to
follow immediately after Section 391 of said Code and to read as
follows:

391 A. (a) There is hereby created and established in the First
Election District of Anne Arundel County a special mosquito control
and taxing district to be known as "Mosquito Control Taxing District
No. 1-A". The said District shall include all of properties within
the following area:

Beginning for the same at a point on the shore of Larkington Cove
where the division line between the subdivisions of Loch Haven
and Larkington intersects said shore; and running from thence with
said line, in a southerly direction to the line of the VonAscheberg
property; thence with the same, in a westerly and southerly direction
to where said line intersects Mayo State Road; thence crossing said
road and continuing with the line of the vonAscheberg property in a
southerly direction to the head of Bear Creek; thence with the waters
of Bear Creek, Whitemarsh Creek, Rhodes River, Chesapeake Bay,
South River and Brewers Creek, to the place of beginning, being
within the First Election District of Anne Arundel County.

(b)   The County Commissioners of Anne Arundel County are
hereby authorized to levy a special tax upon all of the assessable
property located within the said "Mosquito Control Taxing District
No. 1-A" of not more than Two Cents (2¢) on each One Hundred
Dollars ($100.00) of assessable property, the proceeds of which
special tax shall be accumulated and used only within the said District
and for the purposes of mosquito control only.

(c)  The said District shall be entitled to share in the distribution
of any funds provided for in the annual budget of the State of Mary-
land for mosquito control on a matching fund or other basis, as is
