AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections (19(1),
20(k), 37, 82(b) and 82(c) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1951 Edition and 1956 Supplement), title "Alcoholic
Beverages", sub-titles "Beer, Wine and Liquor Licenses", "Local
Licenses and License Provisions", and "Hours and Days For Sale";
and to add Sections 19(g-l) and 20(h-l) to said Article, to follow
immediately after Sections 19(g) and 20(h) thereof, providing for
a Class B beer, wine and liquor license and for a Class C beer,
wine and liquor license in Queen Anne's County, and relating
generally thereto.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 19 (1), 20 (k), 37, 82 (b) and 82 (c) of Article 2B
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition and 1956 Supple-
ment), title "Alcoholic Beverages", sub-titles "Beer, Wine and
Liquor Licenses", "Local Licenses and License Provisions" and
"Hours and Days For Sale", be and they are hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments; and that Sections 19 (g-1) and 20
(h-1), be and they are hereby added to said Article, to follow im-
mediately after Sections 19 (g) and 20 (h) thereof, and all to read
as follows:
19.
(g-1) Queen Anne's County.—In Queen Anne's County the annual
fee for such a license shall be One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00).
(1) Applicability.—Such licenses shall only be issued in Balti-
more City, Anne Arundel County, Baltimore County, the towns of
North Beach and Chesapeake Beach in Calvert County and in Cecil,
Dorchester, Kent, Montgomery, Prince George's, Queen Anne's,
Talbot, Washington and Worcester counties.
20.
(h-1) Queen Anne's County.—In Queen Anne's County, such a li-
cense shall be issued only to a bona fide non-profit organization or club
composed solely of members who served in the Armed Forces of the
United States in any war in which the United States has engaged,
which organization or club operates solely for the use of its own
members and their guests when accompanied by such members and
to a bona fide yacht club organized at the time this section becomes
effective. The annual fee for such a license shall be five hundred
dollars ($500).
20.
(k) Applicability.—The license shall only be issued in the city of
Baltimore, in Allegany, Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Cecil, Frederick,
Kent, Montgomery, Prince George's, Queen Anne's, Talbot and Wash-
