Sec. 4. And be it further enacted, That the County Council of
Montgomery County and the County Commissioners of Prince
George's County are hereby authorized to appropriate a sum of
money, not to exceed Twenty five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00),
SUCH SUMS OF MONEY AS NECESSARY, respectively, in order
to carry out the directions of this Act. The cost of said survey and
report shall be borne equally by the said counties.

SEC. 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, THAT NOTHING
HEREIN SHALL BE CONSTRUED OR APPLIED SO AS TO RE-
QUIRE ANY RESIDENT OF EITHER MONTGOMERY OR
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY TO MAKE A SECOND PAYMENT
OR A RE-PAYMENT OF ANY TAXES PAID ON REAL OR PER-
SONAL PROPERTY TO EITHER OF SUCH COUNTIES, BY
REASON OF THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A DEFINITIVE
BOUNDARY BETWEEN THE TWO COUNTIES AS IN THIS
ACT PROVIDED, IT BEING THE LEGISLATIVE INTENT THAT
THERE SHALL BE NO CLAIM FOR A SECOND PAYMENT OR
FOR A RE-PAYMENT OF ANY TAXES PAID IN GOOD FAITH
TO ONE OF THE TWO COUNTIES.

Sec. 5 6. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957.

CHAPTER 611
(House Bill 526)

AN ACT to add Section 200A to Article 56 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Licenses", sub-title "Dog Li-
censes in Counties", to follow immediately after Section 200
therein, providing free dog licenses for "seeing dogs" "SEEING-
EYE DOGS".

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 200A be and is hereby added to Article 56 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Licenses", sub-title
"Dog Licenses in Counties", to follow immediately after Section 200,
and to read as follows:

200A. If the application shall disclose and the clerk be satisfied
that the dog for which the license is sought is a so-called "seeing

dog"
"SEEING-EYE DOG", trained to aid the blind and actually in
use for such purpose, the license therefor shall be issued without the
payment of any fee and the clerk shall inscribe across the face of
the license in red ink the words "seeing dog"
"SEEING-EYE DOG".
