INTRODUCTION OF RESOLUTION

Senate Resolution congratulating the Honorable Louis L. Goldstein
upon the occasion of his birthday.

The members of the Senate of Maryland in Special Session assembled
on March 13, 1958 are pleased to honor and felicitate the Honorable Louis
L. Goldstein, President of the Senate, upon the occasion of his birthday.

While this auspicious event is still one day removed, it detracts not
at all from the warmth and cordiality with which we congratulate the
President of the Senate. He is rounding out a notable period of legislative
service extending over twenty years, except for an intervening period
while he served in the Armed Forces of the United States.

We assure him that our greetings today are in all the good humor and
with every spirit of happiness that he constantly inculcates into the
Senate during its proceedings and deliberations; now, therfore, be it

Resolved by the Senate of Maryland, That the hearty congratulations
of this Body be expressed to the President of the Senate, the Honorable
Louis L. Goldstein, upon the occasion of his birthday; and be it further

Resolved, That the Secretary of the Senate be directed to send a copy
of this Resolution to the Honorable Louis L. Goldstein.
