CHAPTER 76.
An act annulling the Marriage of Edmund Perkins, and
Rebecca his Wife, of Kent county.
Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the said Edmund Perkins be and he is hereby divorced from bed,
hoard, and mutual cohabitation, with his wife Rebecca Perkins.
2. And be it enacted, That the said Rebecca Perkins shall be en-
titled to have, hold, possess and enjoy, all property, both real and
personal, which she may hereafter acquire, to her sole and separate
use, in as full and ample a manner as she might have done if she
had never been married, and may sue and be sued as a feme sole.
3. And be it enacted, That all property, either real or personal,
which the said Edmund Perkins may hereafter acquire, shall be
held, possessed and enjoyed, by the said Edmund, free and clear
from all claim or claims which have arisen, or may arise, in con-
sequence of the marriage heretofore had between said Edmund
Perkins, and Rebecca his wife.

CHAPTER 77
An act for the benefit of the Roman Catholic Congregation,
in the City of Baltimore.
Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the lottery authorised by a law passed in eighteen hundred
and eleven, for the purpose of finishing the Roman Catholic Ca-
thedral in the city of Baltimore, be and the same is hereby autho-
rised to be proposed and drawn, exempted from the delay as to the
time or order of drawing imposed by the act, entitled, An act to
regulate lotteries, subject however to the other provisions of said
act, and also of the act authorising the said lottery.

CHAPTER 78.
An act to appoint Gustavus W. T. Wright, Trustee to sell
and dispose of the Lands therein mentioned
Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, Thai
Gustavus W. T. Wright be, and he is appointed trustee, to sell and
dispose of all that tract or parcel of land called Maiden Hall, ly-
ing and being in Queen-Anne's county, which has been allotted
to the heirs of Susanna Watson, deceased, by commissioners under
an act of assembly, passed at December session in the year eighteen
hundred and seventeen; and the said Gustavus W. T. Wright be,
and he is hereby also appointed trustee to sell all that tract or par-
cel of land called Coursey's Addition, containing about sixty-three
acres of land lying and bring in the county aforesaid, and con-
tiguous to the said land called Maiden Hall, of which the said Su-
sanna Watson is supposed to have died seized.
2. And be it enacted, That the said trustee be, and he is hereby
authorised, empowered and directed, to sell and dispose of all the
right, title and interest, both at law and in equity, which the heirs
of the said Susanna Watson have in and to the said lands.
