CHAPTER 66.

An act for the benefit of Robert Kerr, James Hogstin, and
William Alexander, of Harford County.
Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the deed of conveyance from James Barnet, and Elizabeth bis
wife, to Robert Kerr, bearing date on or about the sixteenth day of
December, in the year one thousand eight hundred and nine, and
the deed of conveyance from John Montgomery to James Hogstin,
bearing date on or about the twentieth day of October, in the
year one thousand eight hundred and eight, and also the deed of
conveyance from Margaret Widnor to William Alexander, bear-
ing date on or about the twenty-second day of December, in the
year one thousand eight hundred and ten, which several deeds
are duly executed, acknowledged and recorded, among the land
records of Harford county, shall have the same force and effect
to vest in the said Robert Kerr, James Hogstin, and William
Alexander, respectively, their heirs and assigns, a title to the
said property, as if they had been naturalized agreeably to the
laws of the United States at the time of the execution of the said
several deeds; Provided, that the said Robert Kerr, James Hog-
stin, and William Alexander, shall have become naturalized
within one year from the passage of this act, or within the like-
period after enabled so to be by the laws of the United States; And
provided also, that nothing herein contained shall in any wise af-
fect or impair the right of any person or persons to said lauds,
which have been acquired before the passage of this act.
2. And be it enacted, That if the said Robert Kerr, James Hog-
stin, and William Alexander, or either of them, shall die before
the periods herein allowed for their being naturalized, the lands
by them respectively purchased as aforesaid shall nevertheless
pass to their legal representatives respectively, in the same man-
ner as if they had become naturalized.

CHAPTER 67.

An act for the benefit of Ann Worrell Comegys.
Whereas Nathaniel Comegys, late of Kent county, deceased,
by his last will and testament hath devised to his daughter, Ann
Worrell Comegys, twenty acres of woodland, to be laid off on
the west side of his woodland in Morgan's Creek Neck, in the
paid county, and hath also devised to his grandson, John Ward
Comegys, all his said farm in Morgan's Creek Neck, except the
twenty acres of woodland to be laid off as aforesaid for his daugh-
ter, the said Ann Worrell Comegys; and it is desirable that par-
tition should be made of the said farm agreeably to the last will
and testament aforesaid; Therefore,
Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That John Wallis, John Wroth and Joseph Mann, are hereby
appointed, and they or any two of them, are hereby authorised
and empowered, to make partition of the said farm, between
the said Ann Worrell Comegys and John Ward Comegys, and
to lay off, for the said Ann Worrell Comegys, twenty acres of
woodland, agreeably to the true intent and meaning of the said
last will and testament of the said Nathaniel Comegys, they having
