from, within ten months after the drawing thereof, as will pay
the fortunate adventurers for prizes drawn by them in said lot-
tery, and the residue to the repairs of the said churches, the
purchase of a glebe, not exceeding two hundred acres of land,
and the necessary expenses incurred in the management of the
said lottery.
2. And be it enacted, That the vestry, or a majority of them
appointed to propose a scheme and draw a lottery for the use and
benefit of the vestry of King and Queen Parish in Saint-Mary's
county, be and they, or any person or persons appointed by them or
a majority of them, are hereby authorised, to dispose of and sell
all or any of the tickets of said lottery in the city of Baltimore,
or any other part of this state, exclusive of any controul over
the same by the corporation of the city of Baltimore, any law
or usage to the contrary notwithstanding.
3. And be it enacted, That the said bond shall be lodged in the
clerk's office of Saint-Mary's county, to be there recorded, and
upon such bond, or any office copy thereof, suit or suits may be
instituted against the obligors therein, or any of them, or their
or any of their legal representatives, for any breach or non-com-
pliance with the conditions of the same.

CHAPTER 25.

An act to prevent the erection of Booths within two miles
of any Methodist Camp or Quarterly Meeting in the se-
veral Counties therein mentioned.
Whereas the Methodist Society hath at different times sus-
tained such disturbance and vexation from disorderly persons,
who hath set up booths to sell liquors, and other things, near
their public meetings, during the time of divine service, Therefore,
Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That whosoever, from and after the passage of this act, shall
erect a booth for the purpose of selling, or shall sell or dispose of.
any spirituous liquor within two miles of any Methodist Camp or
Quarterly Meeting, in Dorchester, Cecil, Kent, Allegany, Cal-
vert, or Washington counties, during the Camp or Quarterly
Meeting of the said Methodist Society, shall forfeit and pay a
sum not exceeding one hundred dollars current money of this
state, to be recovered in the, county court of the said county by
indictment, one half of the sum which may be recovered to be
applied to the use of the county, and the other half to be receiv-
ed by the person or persons who shall make information thereof.
2. And be it enacted, That nothing in this act shall be con-
strued to hinder any ordinary keeper or licensed retailer from
selling liquors, and other things, in their respective dwell-
ing-houses or stores.

An act to alter, change and repeal, all such parts of the
Constitution and Form of Government of this State, as
relate to the division of Prince George's County into
Election Districts.
Whereas it is represented to this general assembly, by the
