. per to direct, that then and in such case the chancellor shall
make equal distribution of the money so funded as aforesaid,
amongst the surviving heirs of the said late William Norris
within his knowledge, and the representatives of such as may
be dead if any, and direct the same to be paid to them respec-
tively or to their order.

CHAPTER 16.
- A supplement to an Act entitled, an Act to lay out and make
public a road in Cecil County.
a Sec. 1. BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Samuel Hogg, George Kidd, and John Shaw
be, and they are hereby appointed and authorised to survey
and lay out a road not exceeding thirty feet wide clear of ditch-
es, beginning at or near the place where a bridge formerly
stood over Principio Creek, and from thence in as straight a di-
rection an the nature of the ground will admit of, to Richard
Reynold's mills; and from thence to intersect the road leading
from the lower ferry on Susquehanna river to Port Deposit ;
which commissioners shall in all respects, (except as to the lo-
cation above described for said road.) conform to the provisions
of the act to which this is a supplement.

CHAPTER 17.

An act annulling the marriage of John Turner, and Ann 0.
Turner, of Talbot County.
Sec. 1. BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the marriage of the said John Turner and
Ann O. Turner of Talbot County heretofore solemnized be,
and the same is hereby declared to be absolutely to all intents
and purposes null and void, and the said John Turner and Ann
O. Turner are declared to be divorced, a vinculo matrimonii ;
Provided nevertheless, that nothing in this act contained shall
be construed to illegitimate the children, born of the said John
Turner and Ann O. Turner.

CHAPTER 18.
An act for the sale of the real estate of which Gabriel G. Van
Horn died possessed.
Sec. 1. BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the orphan's court of Prince George's county
be, and is hereby authorised to appoint a trustee or trustees, as
to the said court may appear proper, to sell and dispose of on
such terms as the said court may direct, all the real property of
which the said Gabriel G. Van Horn died possessed; and upon
the ratification of the sale by the said court and the payment
of the purchase money, the trustee or trustees as the case may
be, shall execute & acknowledge a deed or deeds to the purchas-
er or purchasers conveying all the right which the said Gabriel G.
Van Horn had therein at the time of his death, which deed or deeds
shall be recorded within the time prescribed in case of other
deeds; and the said trustee shall pay over of the purchase mo-
ney to the administrator de bonis non, of the said Gabriel G.
Van Horn, such sum (if so much there be,) as will in addition
to the personal estate of the said Gabriel G. Van Horn be suf-
ficient to pay the debts due by him at the time of his death,
and the balance, if any, to the infant children of the said Gabri-
el G. Van Horn under the directions of the said orphan's court;
