considered to be as completely binding on the drawer and
endorsers as if notice had been personally served on each

of them.
22. AND BE IT ENACTED, That any director,
officer, or other person, holding any share or capital of
the said bank stock who shall commit any fraud or embez-
zlement touching the money or property of the bank, shall
be liable to be prosecuted in the name of the state, by in
dictment for the same, in any court of law in this state and
upon conviction thereof shall, besides the remedy that may
be had by action in the name of the president and direc-
tors of the Susquehanna Bridge and Bank Company for
the fraud aforesaid, forfeit all his share or stock in the said

bridge and bank to the company.

Frauds or em-
bezzlements.

23. AND BE IT ENACTED, That so soon as five
thousand shares shall be subscribed for, it shall be the
duty of the said commissioners, or any five or more of
them, to appoint a day and place tor the election of di-
rectors, which day shall be thirty days thereafter, and
notice shall be given at least ten days before such e-
lection; and the said directors shall be, and they are
hereby authorised, immediately after such election to
commence the operations of the said bank.

24. AND BE IT ENACTED, That if the said Sus-
quehanna Bridge and Bank Company shall not keep the
bridge, when completed, in good repair, that then and
in that case the charter of said company shall be void and
cease to operate thereafter.

Repairs.

25. AND BE IT ENACTED, That all such parts
of the act or acts to which this is a supplement, as are not
inconsistent with or repugnant to this law, shall have as
full force and operation as if the same had been incorpora-
ted into this law, and all such parts thereof as shall be
inconsistent with and repugnant to this act, shall be and
the same are hereby repealed, annulled and made void.

26. AND BE IT ENACTED, That George Kidd,
of Cecil county, be and he is hereby appointed a commis-
sioner in the place of John Creswell, deceased, and that
Alexander Brown, Henry Thompson, and William Stans-
bury, be and they are hereby appointed commissioners
in addition to those named in the original act, to take
subscriptions for the capital stock in the city of Baltimore,
and that the said commissioners shall be and they are
hereby vested with all and singular the powers given to
the commissioners named in the original act to which this
is a supplement.

CHAPTER 67.

A supplement to the act entitled, an act to incorpo-
rate a bank to be called by the name of The Farmer's
Bank of Somerset and Worcester.
