CHAPTER 109.
A supplement to an act entitled, an act empowering the Levy court of Cecil
county at their discretion to levy a sum of money to build a Bridge over Octa-
rura Creek in said county, at or near Samuel Rowland's store.
Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Levy court of Cecil county are hereby authorised and required to
levy on the assessable property of said county, a sum of money not ex-
ceeding eight hundred dollars for the purpose of erecting a bridge
over Octarara creek at or near Samuel Rowland's store.

2. And be it enacted, That the justices of the levy court of said
county, shall at the first annual levy made after the passage of this act '
levy upon the assessable property in said county the sum of two hun-
dred dollars, and the same sum annually until they have levied the
sum of eight hundred dollars above named.

3. And be it enacted, That any thing in the said original act to
which this is a supplement, that is repugnant to or inconsistent with
the provisions of this act, shall be, and the same is hereby repealed.

CHAPTER 103.
An act for the relief of Isaac Lyon, of Frederick county.
Whereas, it has been represented to this General Assembly by
the petition of Isaac Lyon, that in the year eighteen hundred and
twelve he obtained the benefit of the insolvent laws of this state, and
that in the year eighteen hundred and twenty he was, by the pressure
of misfortune, obliged to apply the second time for similar relief, and
at the time he had obtained the assent in writing in due form of law
of more than two-thirds in value of his creditors, but could not be
released, the law then required in such cases that fifty per cent should
be paid: And whereas, it is further represented by the petition of the
said Isaac Lyon that the papers containing the evidence of the assent
of his creditors were filed in the clerk's office of Frederick county
and have been lost, and that the want of them is at this time the only
obstacle to his obtaining a discharge—Therefore,

Preamble.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the jud-
ges of Frederick county court be, and they are hereby authorised and
empowered to extend to Isaac Lyon, of Frederick county, the bene-
fit of an act of assembly, passed at November session, eighteen hun-
dred and five, entitled, an act for the relief of sundry insolvent deb-
tors, and the acts supplementary thereto: Provided, that the said Isaac
Lyon shall prove to the satisfaction of the said judges that he had ob-
tained the assent of his creditors as above recited, and shall procure
the assent according to law of two-thirds in value of all creditors to
whom he has become indebted since his said application in the year
eighteen hundred and twenty: and provided also, the said Isaac Lyon
shall comply with all the other necessary requisites of the said acts of
assembly.

An act for the relief of Elizabeth Harding, of the city of Baltimore.
Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
Elizabeth Harding, of the city of Baltimore, be, and she is hereby di-
vorced from bed, board and mutual cohabitation with her husband
, William Harding.
