CHAPTER 119.

An act for the support of Martha Conner, the idiot daughter of James
Conner, of Kent county.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the levy
court of Kent county be, and they are hereby authorised and era-
powered to levy on the assessable property of said county, so long as
they shall see cause, a sum of money not exceeding thirty dollars,
for the support and maintenance of Martha Conner, the idiot daugh-
ter of James Conner, of said county, and that the same when so levied
shall be collected by the collector of said county, and by him paid
annually to the said James Conner or to his order.

CHAPTER 120.

An act authorising John Cole, of Frederick county, to remove his negro
slave "James, " from the state of Virginia into this state.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the said John Cole be, and he is hereby authorised and empow-
ered, at any time within twelve months after the passage of this act,
to remove and bring into this state, his negro man, James, in the
same manner as he might or could have done at the time of his own

An act for the relief of the Poor of Prince-George's County, being
Supplementary to the act entitled, An act for the relief of the poor
of the several counties in this state.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the office of the present trustees of the poor for Prince George's
county, shall cease and be at an end on the first Monday of June
next, and that the appointment of trustees of the poor of said coun-
ty from and after the first Monday in April next, be vested in the
