2. Be it enacted, That at all future elections for directors of
said Havre-de-Grace Bank, the stock-holders of said bank may elect
three of the said seven directors from among the stock-holders of
said bank residing out of Harford county.

CHAPTER 72.
An act for the relief of Henny Truitt, of Worcester county.
Be it enacted By the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Justices of the Levy Court of Worcester county, be, and they
are hereby authorised and empowered, at their Levy Court annually,
to assess and levy on the assessable property of said county, as
long as they shall think proper, the sum of twenty dollars, for the
support and maintenance of the said Henny Truitt; and that the
same be collected annually by the collector of Worcester county,
tod paid to the said Henny Truitt or to her order.

Erection of
warehouses.

CHAPTER 73.
A further and additional supplement the act entitled, An act to re-
gulate the inspection of Tobacco.
Be it enacted By the General Assembly of Maryland, That
it shall and may be lawful for the Levy Court of Saint Mary's coun-
ty, to levy on the assessable property of said county, such sums as
they may deem necessary for the erection of ware-houses for the
inspection of Tobacco, at such places as they shall think consistent
with the public interest, and which ware-houses when erected, shall
be subject to the provisions of the original act.

CHAPTER 74.
A supplement to an act entitled, An act to provide for a new assess-
ment, and to appoint collectors of the county tax in and for the city
and county of Baltimore.

Collectors'
commissions.
|
Sec. 1. Be it enacted By the General Assembly of Maryland
That from and after the passage of this law, the levy court of Bal-
timore county are hereby authorised and empowered, at their next
levy, to allow to the several collectors of the said county tax, such
commission on the amount to be collected in the county, as the said
court shall consider right and proper, not exceeding ten per centum
on the amount to be collected in the county, and not exceeding eight
per centum on the amount to be collected in the city.

Repeal.
|
2. And be IT enacted, That all that part of the fourth section
of the act to which this is a supplement, that is inconsistent with
this act, be and the some is hereby repealed, any law to the contrary
notwithstanding.

Booths not to
be erected—
penalty.

CHAPTER 75.
An act to prevent the erection of booths within two miles of any Me-
thodist Camp or Quarterly Meeting in Calvert county.
SEC. 1. BE it enacted By the General Assembly of Maryland,
That whosoever, from and after the passage of this act, shall erect a
booth or other convenience for the purpose of selling, or shall in
anywise sell or dispose of any spiritous liquors, wine, beer, cider,
ale or porter, within two miles of any Methodist Camp or Quar-
