year until the whole sum is levied, collected and paid over to the
trustees of the poor or their order.
14. And be it enacted, That any thing in the said original act
to which this is a supplementary act, as relates to Worcester coun-
ty, which is repugnant to or inconsistent with the provisions of this
act, shall be, and the same is hereby repealed.

CHAPTER 155.

A supplement to an act entitled, An act to incorporate a company to
make a Turnpike Road from the Market Space in Hager's-Town to
the West Bank of Conococheague.
Be it enacted By the General Assembly of Maryland, That
from and after the passage of this act, the president and managers
of the Hager's-Town and Conococheague Turnpike Company, be,
and they are hereby authorised and empowered to appoint a trea-
surer to said company; and that so much of the act to which this is
a supplement as requires the stock-holders of said company to elect
a treasurer, be, and the same is. hereby repealed.

CHAPTER 156.

An act to authorise the orphans' courts in this state to appoint trus-
tees in cases therein mentioned.
Sec. 1. Be it enacted By the General Assembly of Maryland,
That in all cases where special acts of assembly have been passed,
authorising any orphans' court in this state to appoint a trustee to
sell and dispose of real estate the property of minors, and the
trustee appointed hath died or removed without completing and
fully executing his trust, the orphans' court of the proper county
shall be, and is hereby authorised and empowered to appoint ano-
ther trustee to carry into effect the provisions of the particular
act.

2. And be it enacted, That the course of proceedings shall
be regulated in each case in which proceedings may be had under
this act, according to the provisions of the particular act under
which a trustee has been appointed, and who has died or removed
without fully executing and completing his trust.

CHAPTER 157.

An act for the relief of Michael I. Ford, of the city of Baltimore.
Whereas, It is represented to this general assembly by the
petition of Michael I. Ford, of the city of Baltimore, that he is at
present confined in Baltimore county jail, for debts which he is
unable to pay, and that he is debarred from the privilege of the in-
solvent laws of the state, by reason of the unfavorable report of the
commissioners of insolvent debtors for the city and county of Bal-
timore, upon his petition heretofore made before them; and the said
Michael I. Ford being desirous of again appearing before the said
commissioners, notwithstanding such unfavorable report, and it be-
ing deemed unreasonable that he should remain in imprisonment if
he shall be able to satisfy the said commissioners that he has fair-
ly surrendered up all the property he is or has been possessed of—
Therefore,
