398. An act to refund to Mary Chauvenet, widow of the
late W. W. Chanvenet, the sum of fifty-three dollars and
thirty-three cents, ($53 33) improperly collected of her for
the use of the State.

399. An act to incorporate a Company to make a Turnpike
road from Bel-Air to Frogtown.

400. An act to incorporate the subscribers to the Havre de
Grace Academy, in Harford county.

401. An act to authorise Bennett F. Gwynn, to settle his
account as guardian to W. H. H. Edelen, and deliver over
the estate to his said ward.

402. An act to alter and amend the charter of the Somer-
set and Worcester Savings Bank.

403. An act to allow Nathan J. Lankford, late sheriff and
collector of Somerset county, further time to complete his
collections.

404. An act to regulate the compensation of the County
Commissioners of Montgomery county.

405. An act to waive in favor of the Western Maryland
Railroad Company, any lien or claim which the State may
have on or to the Green Spring Branch of the Baltimore and
Susquehannah, or Northern Central Railway Company.

406. An act to make valid a paper executed as a deed by
Edwin R. Carvill, to Emory Sudler, on the 14th of April,
1848, or 1849, for ten acres of land in Kent county, and to
authorise the same to he recorded among the land records of
said county;

pany, at Chloras Point, in Talbot county.

408. An act for the benefit of James Wheeler, a free per-
son of color, of Caroline county.
