190. An act to provide for the compensation of Henry
May, of the city of Baltimore, for legal services rendered by
him to the State, in the Circuit Courts for Allegany and
Washington counties, in the years 1852 and 1853, at the re-
quest of the Governor.

191. An additional supplement to the act entitled a sup-
plement to an act entitled, an act for the founding a college
at Chestertown.

192. An act for the better regulation of primary schools in
Carroll county.

193. An act to incorporate the trustees of the Particular
Baptist Gunpowder Church, of Carroll county.

194. An act to refund to James H. Henning and William
Thompson, of R, sums of money erroneously paid into the
Treasury, by the said James H. Henning and William Thomp-
son, of R, on their office, in the years 1852 and 1853.

195. An act to refund James Higgins, certain moneys paid
by him for the use and benefit of the State.

196. An act to authorise the clerk of the Circuit Court for
Kent county, to transcribe the general indexes to the land
records of the said county, and to make and keep a general
index to the judgments and decrees of the said Circuit court.

197. An act to amend an act entitled, an act to lay out and
establish a new election district in Carroll county, to be
called District Number Eleven or New Windsor District,
passed at January session, 1856, chapter 240.

198. An act to change the place of holding elections in the
sixth election district of Dorchester county.

199. An act to make valid a certain deed therein mentioned,
from John Hare and Catharine Hare, his wife, to Robert
Morrison.

200. An act to prevent the sale of intoxicating liquors in
Mount Airey, Carroll county, and within a half mile of the
same.

201. An act to incorporate and endow Cambridge Female
Academy.

202. An act to make valid the acts of Hiram McCullough,
as commissioner under the act of 1828, chapter 165.
