that nothing in these resolutions, or any decision
under the same, shall in any manner compromise
the State, or bind her by the decision of said Court
or commit her to the payment of any costs or
charges in settling the question involved in the
aforesaid resolutions, or to authorise the Gover-
nor to employ Counsel in the discussion of the
matter before said Court.

Resolution requesting the Comptroller of the
Treasury to examine and adjust the compensa-
tion accounts of the assistant clerks in the office
of the late clerk of the Superior Court of Balti-
more city.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the Comptroller of the Treasury, be and he
is hereby requested to examine and adjust the
compensation accounts of the assistant clerks in
the office of the clerk of the Superior Court of
Baltimore city, under the administration of the
late clerk of said court.
