the Seventh Judicial Circuit, two thousand dol-
lars; for the salary of the Judge of the Eighth
Judicial Circuit, two thousand dollars; for the
salary of the Judge of the Criminal Court for
Baltimore city, two thousand dollars; for the sal-
ary of the Librarian, one thousand dollars; for
the salary of the Private Secretary to the Gover-
nor, eight hundred dollars; to the Clerks of the
Comptroller, one thousand nine hundred dollars;
to the Clerk to the Treasurer of Maryland, twelve
hundred dollars; to the State Agricultural Chem-
ist, two thousand dollars; for assistance and ex-
penses of State Chemist, one thousand dollars; to
the Commissioners of Public Works, two hundred
dollars each, eight hundred dollars; to the Sher-
iff and Messenger to the Court of Appeals, one
thousand two hundred dollars; to the State's sub-
scription to two hundred copies of two volumes of
the reports of the decisions of the Court of Ap-
peals, two thousand dollars; to the State Reporter,
five hundred dollars; to the Maryland Penitentia-
ry, for so much on account of the salaries of its
officers, eight thousand dollars; to African Colo-
nization, five thousand dollars; to the Adjutant
General of Maryland Militia, five hundred dollars;
to the Armorer at Frederick, three hundred dol-
lars; to the Armorer at Easton, three hundred
dollars; to the State Tobacco Inspectors in Balti-
more, including the salaries of the Inspectors of
Tobacco and their clerks, and their contingent ex-
penses, twenty-three thousand five hundred dol-
lars; to donations to colleges, academies and
schools, twenty-one thousand four hundred dol-
lars; to the payment of the several sums of mo-
ney to be distributed among the counties, accord-
ing to law, for the use of the free schools, inclu-
ding bonus from banks, dividends from bank
stock standing to the credit of the Free School
Fund, and so much of the tax on passengers on
the Washington Branch of the Baltimore and
Ohio Railroad, as has been substituted for the
surplus revenue, sixty-three thousand five hundred
and sixty-eight dollars and one cent; to the educa-
tion of the indigent blind, in addition to the
fund already accumulated for that purpose, two
thousand dollars; to the education of the deaf and
