writing, or articles of association, or any amend-
ments thereof, shall have been recorded as herein-
before directed, they shall be duly certified, to be
recorded, and be delivered over to the respective
applicants, and a copy of the records duly certifi-
ed, shall be at all times as good evidence as the
original might or could be.

Banking pri-
vileges forbid.
|
SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That no corporation
formed or established under this act, shall be
authorised to exercise banking privileges or to
issue any note, token, device, scrip or other evi-
dence of debt, to be used as currency, nor shall
any such corporation formed in consequence of
the provisions of this act, have the power of con-
demning lands for the tracks of such Railroads
as they may construct, or for any other purpose.

Reservation.
|
SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That full right is
at all times hereby reserved to the General Assem-
bly to alter, amend or repeal this act, or to modify,
amend or annul the charter of any corporation
that may be formed or established under or by
virtue of this act.

AN ACT for the dispatch of business in the Su-
perior Court and Court of Common Pleas of
Baltimore city.

Time of the
commencement
of terms.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the stated terms of the
Superior Court of Baltimore city shall commence
on the second Monday in January, the second
Monday in May, and the second Monday in Sep-
tember in each and every year.

|
Stated rule
days.
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the second
Monday in February, March, April, June, July,
October, November and December in each and
every year, shall be stated rule days of said court.
