pike Road between the termini mentioned in the
first section of this act, to he constructed of such
materials as the president and hoard of managers,
chosen under the provisions of this act shall
direct, which road shall be of the width of sixty
feet, of which at least eighteen feet shall he com-
posed of broken stone, gravel or other hard sub-
stance, with good and sufficient bridges over any
stream crossing the same, and that the said road
or roads shall at all times be kept of same grade
as the main bed of the road, and in order that the
route or intended course of said road may be
known to all concerned with as much precision as
possible.

SEC. 10. Be it further enacted, That said road
shall commence as aforesaid for the centre of said
avenue at a point on the northwest side of North
Avenue between Madison Lane and Jones' Falls,
thence through the intervening lands to the north-
west side of Newington Lane at the point where
the division line between Lloyd N. Rogers and
Mrs. Croft intersects said lane, thence with said
division line to the end thereof, thence through
said Rogers' land to the land owned by Mrs.
Thos. R. Mathews, thence through said Mathews'
land to C. B. Keyworth's land, thence through
said land to F. Meyers' land, thence through his
land to John Greacen's land, thence through his
land to land belonging to Adam Welsh's heirs,
thence through said land to Charles Harvey's
land, thence through his land to John Fattle's
land, thence through his land to the dividing line
between him and Kitty Hook, thence with said
line to Mrs. Coates' land, thence through said land
to the land of A. C. Schaeffer, thence through
said land to the land of Charles Hoopes, thence
through said land to the land of R. Hook, thence
through said land to the land of Francis Lauren-
son to the Pimlico lands, thence through said
land to William Taylor's land, thence through
Taylor's land to Artemus Schofield's land, thence
through said laud to Mrs. Rebecca Smith's land,
thence through her lands to the centre of Pimlico
road, thence along the centre of said road to
Pimlico Church, thence following the present bed
of the Pimlico road through the lands of Charles
Hoopes, thence through the lands of Rudolph Hook,
