CHAPTER 96.

AN ACT to make valid a deed from William
Henry Calvert and wife, to Eleanora A. Cal-
vert.
|

ary 23, 1858.
|

|
|
WHEREAS, it is represented to this General Assem-
bly, that a certain William Henry Calvert and
Mary Harriet Calvert, his wife, of the city of
Pass Christian, in the State of Mississippi,
did, on the seventh day of September, in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and fifty-seven, execute, acknowledge and de-
liver unto Eleanora A. Calvert, of Prince
George's county, in the State of Maryland, their
deed for certain real estate therein mentioned;
And whereas, the grantee in said deed is de-
scribed by clerical inadvertance, as Eleanor A.
Calvert, when she should have been Eleanora
A. Calvert; Therefore,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the said deed be, and the
same is hereby made as valid to all intents and
purposes as if the said grantee had been properly
named and described.
|

|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from its passage.

AN ACT to provide for making an index to judg-
ments, &c., in the Circuit Court for Caroline
county, and for the rebinding of the index to
the Land Records, and directing the County
Commissioners to levy by a tax, a sum sufficient
to pay for the same.
