AN ACT supplementary to the act of 1854, chapter 4,
passed for the regulation of the catching of oysters
in the waters of Somerset county, and entitled an
act to fix the time when the Clerk of the Circuit
Court for Somerset county shall pay over to the
Treasurer of the school fund of said county
certain moneys, as provided for in said act, and
making his official bond liable for the payment
thereof.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Som-
erset county be and he is hereby authorised and re-
quired, to pay over to the Treasurer of the school
fund of said county, on or by the first Monday in
June of each year, all the money or moneys he may
have in hand up to said period, arising from the is-
suing of licenses, under the provisions of the act of
eighteen hundred and fifty-four, chapter four, passed
for the regulation of the catching of oysters in the
waters of Somerset county; and that for the faithful
and prompt payment thereof, his official bond shall
be liable in the same manner as it is now liable for
the payment of other moneys into the treasury of the
State.

AN ACT appropriating a sum of money to pay Wil-
liam Cooke and George D. Tewksbury, commis-
sioners to build a tobacco warehouse in the city of
Baltimore, for their services.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That there be and hereby is appropri-
ated, one thousand dollars, out of any money in the
treasury, to the credit of the tobacco fund, not other-
