AN ACT supplementary to an act entitled an act to
authorise the County Commissioners of Howard
county to levy a sum of money to build a school
house in primary school district number six in
Howard county passed at January session eighteen
hundred and fifty-four, chapter ninety three.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the County Commissioners of
Howard County at their next annual levy for county
purposes are hereby authorised and empowered to
levy on the assessable property of Howard county
the additional sum of ninety-seven dollars, the same
being a balance due upon the aforesaid school house.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That James Clark,
Samuel France, and J. P. Ijams, School Commission-
ers appointed under the act passed January session
eighteen hundred and fifty-four, chapter ninety-three
to which this is a supplement entitled an act to au-
thorise the County Commissioners of Howard county
to levy a sum of money to build a school house in
primary school district number six in Howard county,
be and they are hereby authorised or their successors
in office or a majority of them to draw from the
Treasury of Howard county the sum hereinbefore
mentioned.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the day of its passage.
