Senate Bill No. 3—By Senator James:

A Bill entitled "An Act to repeal Sections 126A, 126H, 126-1 (a) and
126P of Article 89B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1955 Supple-
ment), title 'State Roads', sub-title 'Northeastern Expressway Revenue
Bonds', said sections having been amended by Chapter 58 of the Acts of
the Regular Session of 1956; and to enact new Sections 126A, 126H,
126-1 (a) and 126P in lieu thereof, to stand in the place and stead of the
sections so repealed, to authorize the State Roads Commission to enter
into a Supplemental Agreement with Fidelity-Baltimore National Bank &
Trust Company, Trustee under the Trust Agreement, dated as of October 1,
1954, relating to the State of Maryland Bridge and Tunnel Revenue Bonds
and to authorize and empower said Commission to pay a certain part of
the tolls collected from the Northeastern Expressway to said Trustee for
a certain period and under certain terms and conditions to be determined
by it, to authorize and empower the Commission to adopt a resolution or
enter into a trust agreement relating to the Northeastern Expressway
Revenue Bonds making provision for the disposition of the tolls and
revenues from the Northeastern Expressway in conformity with said
Supplemental Agreement and to authorize said Commission to continue
to collect and charge tolls for the use of the new bridge across the Susque-
hanna River upon certain conditions after the bonds issued for the purpose
of constructing said expressway have been fully paid, or a fund estab-
lished for the payment thereof; said Sections 126A, 126H, 126-1 (a) and
126P having been so amended by Chapter 58 of the Acts of the General
Assembly at its Regular Session of 1956 and being here re-enacted with-
out change from said Chapter 58 of the Regular Session of 1956, in order
to resolve any doubts about the validity of the consideration of said Chap-
ter 58 at the Regular Session of 1956."

and Means.

Senate Bill No. 4—By the President:

A Bill entitled "An Act to repeal Section 243 of Article 77 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title 'Public Education',
sub-title 'University of Maryland', as said section was amended by
Chapter (House Bill 70) of the Acts of 1956; and to enact a new
Section 243 in lieu thereof, to stand in the place and stead of the section
so repealed, authorizing the inclusion of dormitory facilities and living
accommodations in a student union building, heretofore authorized to be
constructed in Baltimore City, and authorizing the University of Mary-
land to receive and accept grants, contributions and assistance in connec-
tion with the facilities authorized to be constructed; said Section 243
having been so amended by Chapter (House Bill 70) of the Acts of the
General Assembly at its Regular Session of 1956 and being here re-
enacted, without change, from said Chapter (House Bill 70) of the
Regular Session of 1956, in order to resolve any doubts about the validity
of the consideration of said Chapter (House Bill 70) at the Regular
Session of 1956."
