1. The term ["veteran motor car"] "Antique Motor Vehicle" shall
mean any motor car which is over 25 years old.
2. The owners of such cars shall prove ownership thereof by a
Maryland certificate of title.
3. The owner shall sign an affidavit accompanying his applica-
tion that the vehicle for which the tag is sought to be issued will
not be used primarily for the transportation of passengers or goods
over the public highways, but will be maintained solely for use in
exhibitions, club activities, parades and similar uses.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1956.

CHAPTER 40
(House Bill 89)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sub-section (d)
of Section 103 of Article 66% of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1951 Edition,) title "Motor Vehicles", sub-title "Administration—
Registration—Titling", providing that notice of suspension or re-
vocation of operator's, chauffeur's or special chauffeur's license or
vehicle registration be by registered or certified letter.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sub-section (d) of Section 103 of Article 66 1/2 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Motor Vehicles", sub-title
"Administration—Registration—Titling", be and it is hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
103.
(d) The Department, after due hearing, may refuse, suspend or
revoke the operator's license, chauffeur's license or special chauffeur's
license or the registration of any vehicle granted under this Article
for any violation of this Article by any such applicant, licensee or
registrant, and for any other cause or reason which, in the opinion
of the Department renders the holder of any such license or registra-
tion an unfit or unsafe person to hold the same; provided at least
three (3) days' notice by registered or certified letter to the address
given by the person when applying for his license or registration
certificate, shall be given; and further provided that said person shall
have the right of appeal as provided for by Section 107.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1,1956.
