CHAPTER 32
(House Bill 15)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 124 of
Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title
"Health", sub-title "Practitioners of Medicine", increasing the
examination fee of applicants for licenses for the practice of
medicine in this State.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 124 of Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1951 Edition), title "Health", sub-title "Practitioners of Medicine",
be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
124. A fee of [Twenty] Thirty-Five Dollars shall be paid to the
secretary-treasurer of the board, before whom the applicant appears,
before such examination is had, which payment shall entitle said
applicant to a second examination, in case of failure, at the expiration
of six months and within twelve months thereafter; said fee to be
applied by said board toward paying the expenses of said board.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1956.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 112 (7)
of Article 77 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1955 Supple-
ment), title "Public Education", sub-title "Teachers' Retirement
System", changing the formula for the payment of supplementary .
pensions to the beneficiaries

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 112 (7) of Article 77 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1955 Supplement), title "Public Education", sub-title "Teachers'
Retirement System", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:
112.
(7). Supplementary Payments.
The Board of Trustees is hereby authorized and directed, subject
to the annual appropriation of the necessary funds and in addition
