Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That on and after the effective
date of this Act, no policy or rider or endorsement coming under a
category to which this Act is applicable, that does not comply with
the requirements of this Act, shall be delivered, or issued for delivery,
in this State; provided, however, that if a policy or rider or endorse-
ment coming under a category to which this Act is applicable, has
been lawfully delivered, or issued for delivery, in this State im-
mediately before such effective date, then such form may be de-
livered, or issued for delivery, in this State during two years from
the effective date of this Act without being subject to the provisions
of this Act.
Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1956.

(Senate Bill 17)
AN ACT to add two new sections to Article 48A of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Insurance", sub-title
"Life, Accident and Health Insurance", said new sections to be
known as Sections 195A and 195B, to follow immediately after
Section 195 thereof, relating to transportation ticket accident and
sickness insurance.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That two new sections be and the same are hereby added to Article
48A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "In-
surance", sub-title "Life, Accident and Health Insurance", said new
sections to be known as Sections 195A and 195B to follow immedi-
ately after Section 195 of said Article, all to read as follows:
195A. (Transportation Ticket Accident and Sickness Insurance;
Definition.) A transportation ticket policy is any ticket policy of
accident and sickness insurance sold at transportation stations, ticket
offices, or travel bureaus either by vending machines or by the
employees of railroads, steam lines, airlines and other organizations
engaged in transporting persons on common carriers, or by the
individuals or employees of persons engaged in selling transportation
on such common carriers, or by other licensed agents, having as its
dominant feature the protection of the insured from a transportation
hazard.
195B. (Transportation Ticket Accident and Sickness Insurance;
Requirements and Uniform Provisions.) No transportation ticket
policy shall be issued or delivered in this State unless it conforms to
the requirements and provisions of Sections 152 and 153 of this
