Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new section to be known as Section 369% to follow immedi-
ately after sub-section 369 (b) of Article 81 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1951 Edition—1955 Supplement) title "Revenue and
Taxes" sub-title "Maryland Use Tax Act" heading "Imposition of
Tax", be and the same is hereby enacted to read as follows:

369i/2. ANY PERSON WHO USES TANGIBLE PERSONAL
PROPERTY WHICH HAS BEEN MANUFACTURED, FABRI-
CATED OR ASSEMBLED BY HIM FROM RAW MATERIALS
AND/OR COMPONENT PARTS, EITHER WITHIN OR WITH-
OUT THIS STATE, SHALL BE REQUIRED TO PAY THE TAX
ON SUCH PROPERTY AS COMPUTED IN SUB-SECTIONS 369
(A) AND 369 (B), MEASURED BY HIS PURCHASE PRICE
OF THE RAW MATERIALS AND/OR COMPONENT PARTS
CONTAINED IN SUCH TANGIBLE PERSONAL PROPERTY.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1956.

CHAPTER 119
(House Bill 8)

AN ACT to add eight new sections to Article 33 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Elections", said new sec-
tions to be known as Sections 161A to 161H, to follow immediately
after Section 161 thereof, and to be under the new sub-title
"Absentee Voting," providing for a system of absentee voting in
this State by persons absent from the State of Maryland for what-
ever reason and by persons disabled and absent from the ward or
election district, and unable to vote at the polls, and relating gener-
ally thereto.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That eight new sections be and they are hereby added to Article 33
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Elections",
said new sections to be known as Sections 161A to 161H, to follow
immediately after Section 161 thereof, to be under the new sub-title
"Absentee Voting," and to read as follows:
