(i) "Product" means any commodity produced in its natural state
by an oil or gas well.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That if any part, section, sub-
section, sentence, clause or phrase of this sub-title shall be held
unconstitutional or void for any reason, such decisions shall not
affect the validity of the remaining portions of this sub-title.
Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That all laws, or parts of laws,
inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, be and they are hereby
repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
Sec. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1956.

(Senate Bill 30)
AN ACT to add Section 19(n) (9) to Article 95A of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1951 Edition and 1955 Supplement), title
"Unemployment Compensation", sub-title "Definitions", said new
section to follow immediately after Section 19 (n) (8) thereof,
further defining the term "wages", as used in the unemployment
compensation laws of this State, with particular reference to pay-
ments made to an employee for the purpose of supplementing
unemployment compensation benefits.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 19 (n) (9) be and it is hereby added to Article 95A of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition and 1955 Supple-
ment), title "Unemployment Compensation", sub-title "Definitions",
said new section to follow immediately after Section 19 (n) (8) thereof
and to read as follows:
19.
(n).
(9). The amount of any payment (including any amount paid by
an employer into a fund to provide for any such payment) made to,
or on behalf of, an employee under a plan or system established by
an employer which makes provision for his employees generally, or
for a class or group of his employees, for the purpose of supple-
menting unemployment benefits.
