The Comptroller shall immediately, upon the sale of and payment
for said certificates, first, return to and credit the Treasury for a
sum equivalent to the amount expended as provided for in Section 4
of this Act; the remainder of the proceeds of said loan shall be
credited on the books of the State Treasury Department, to be
expended as needed by the State, upon approval by the Board of
Public Works for the following needs, purposes and projects, the
amounts listed below being intended to include Architects' and
Engineers' fees where applicable:

Board of Public Works:

New slate roof, gutters and flashing reno-
vations and repairs to dome exterior,
State House; Exterior renovations, State
Office Building; Exterior renovations,
Government House.........................................................$ 35,000

Furnishing Judges' Chambers, Court of Ap-
peals Building..................................................................... 10,600

For Surveys and Appraisals....................................... 5,000

Total—Board of Public Works............................................. $ 50,600

Department of Motor Vehicles:

Air conditioning of building............................................................... 110,000

Military Department:

Constructing Catonsville Armory, contingent on a
contribution from the Federal Government in
amount equal to, or in excess of, the State con-
tribution ......................................................................................................... 190,000

Department of Maryland State Police:
Waldorf Barracks:

Constructing new building and demol-
ished existing building....................................... 140,000

Equipment for new building.................................... 3,500

Roads, parking areas and 'landscaping............ 10,000

Total—Department of Maryland State Police 153,500

Board of Natural Resources:

Department of Tidewater Fisheries:

For construction of a Marine Railway,
contingent on the acquisition of a suit-
able site, said site to be approved by
the Board of Public Works.............................. 15,000
