Systems", changing the date relating to the transfer of certain
persons from one to another retirement system.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 30 of Article 73B of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1954 Supplement), title "Pensions", sub-title "Transfers Between
Retirement Systems", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows :
30. Notwithstanding anything in Sections 27 and 28 of this sub-
title to the contrary, a member of one of such retirement systems
of June 1, 1947, who was a member of another such system imme-
diately prior to entering his present system, or who was in a service
subsequently covered by such a system, may effect such a transfer
provided he deposits the amount of the contributions paid or payable
to him from such other retirement system, if any, prior to the expi-
ration of three months following [September 1, 1954] June 1,1955.
To qualify under the terms and conditions of this section, such mem-
bers shall exhibit such data and information to the administrative
head of the system to which he has transferred as may be required
by the rules and regulations of said system or the administrative
head thereof.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 31 (b)
and 34A (a) of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1951 Edition and 1954 Supplement), title "Elections", sub- title
"Registration", relating to the number of Judges of Elections
required to take certain actions in the City of Baltimore.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 31 (b) and 34A (a) of Article 33 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1951 Edition and 1954 Supplement), title "Elec-
tions", sub-title "Registration", be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, and to read as follows:

(b) A temporary certificate of registration shall be issued in
Baltimore City to any person at the time he shall offer to vote in a
general election, even though a record of his registration is not in
the binder of registered voters delivered to the judges of election, if
