AN ACT to add a new sub-section to Section 663 of Article 66C of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1954 Supplement), title
"Natural Resources", sub-title "Fish and Fisheries", sub-heading
"Oysters and Clams" said new sub-section to be known as Sub-
section (f) and to follow immediately after Sub-section (e)
thereof, prohibiting the taking of soft shell clams (mya arenaria)
by certain devices in the waters of ANNE ARUNDEL, Dorchester
County. AND WICOMICO COUNTIES.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new sub-section be and it is hereby added to Section 663 of
Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1954 Supplement),
title "Natural Resources", sub-title "Fish and Fisheries", sub-head-
ing "Oysters and Clams", said new sub-section to be known as Sub-
section (f) and to follow immediately after Sub-section (e) thereof
and to read as follows:

663.

(f) It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation
to take, catch or dredge soft shell clams (mya arenaria) from any
county waters of ANNE ARUNDEL, Dorchester County AND
WICOMICO COUNTIES by the use of any hydraulic or mechanical
dredges. Any such person, firm or corporation so doing shall, upon
conviction thereof before any Justice of the Peace, be fined $500.00
and the costs.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 31 and
32 of Article 31 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edi-
tion), title "Debt—Public", sub-title "Public Securities, said sec-
tions appearing respectively under the sub-headings "Negotiability
of Public Securities" and "Conditions Upon Sale of Public Secur-
ities" and to repeal Section 35 of said Article under the sub-title
"Public Securities", sub-heading "Conditions Upon Sale of Public
Securities", so as to assure the negotiability of certain types of
registered public securities and so as to exclude from the laws
governing the sale of public securities, the securities issued by
municipal corporations subject to Article 11-E of the Constitution
of Maryland and statutes passed to implement said Article.
