SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That notwithstanding anything
to the contrary hereinabove in this Act, all taxes levied by the Board
of County Commissioners of Howard County for the year 1956 shall
be due and payable, one-half on or before November 1, 1956, and the
remaining one-half on or before April 1, 1957. PROVIDED FUR-
THER THAT NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING TO THE CON-
TRARY HEREINABOVE IN THIS ACT, AS TO ALL TAXES
LEVIED FOR THE YEAR 1955, THE TREASURER SHALL AC-
CEPT ONE-HALF OF SAID TAXES DUE BY EACH TAXPAYER
ON OR BEFORE THE FIRST DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1956, AND
HE SHALL ACCEPT THE REMAINING ONE-HALF OF SAID
TAXES DUE BY EACH TAXPAYER ON OR BEFORE THE
FIRST DAY OF MAY, 1956.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

CHAPTER 517
(House Bill 668)

AN ACT to add a new section to the Laws of Cecil County (1953
Edition), being Article 8 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland), title "Cecil County," said new section to be known as
Section 393 under the new sub-title "Trailer Camps," and to follow
immediately after Section 392 thereof, requiring a license to oper-
ate a trailer camp in Cecil County, specifying the fee for such
license, imposing an excise tax for the privilege of leasing or
renting a trailer coach space in Cecil County and relating generally
to the licensing of trailer camps and the leasing or renting of
trailer coach spaces in Cecil County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new section be and it is hereby added to the Laws of Cecil
County (1953 Edition, being Article 8 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland), title "Cecil County", said new section to be
known as Section 393 under the new sub-title "Trailer Camps", and
to follow immediately after Section 392 thereof, and to read as
follows:

Trailer Camps

393. (a) (Vehicular Trailer Camp Licenses.) The operator of
every vehicular trailer camp in Cecil County shall obtain a license
in order to operate or continue to operate such trailer camp. The
license shall be obtained from the Board of County Commissioners of
Cecil County. for the purpose of this section, a vehicular trailer
camp is defined as an establishment in Cecil County which leases two
