known as the Master for Juvenile Causes of the Circuit Court of
Baltimore County
, who shall be a member of the Bar of the State of
Maryland, at such salary as the Judges of the Circuit Court may
order and approve, to be paid by the County Commissioners of Balti-
more County. The duties of the Master for Juvenile Causes shall be
such as may be prescribed by the Judges of the Circuit Court of
Baltimore County.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

CHAPTER 63
(Senate Bill 249)

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 33 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Elections", sub-title "Regis-
tration", said new section to be known as Section 25A and to
follow immediately after Section 25 thereof, relating to a new
general registration of the voters of Talbot County and providing
that the registration books in Talbot County shall consist of
cards or loose-leaf pages bound in locked binders.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article 33 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Elections", sub-
title "Registration", said new section to be known as Section 25A
and to follow immediately after Section 25 thereof, and to read as
follows:

25A. (a) In Talbot County a new general registration of all the
qualified voters of said county shall be made by the Boards of
Registry in the year 1956, such new general registration shall be
made in the same manner and under the same rules and provisions
in all respects as are provided in this Article, so far as the same
may be applicable and except as herein modified. Each Board of
Registry shall sit for said new registration at the place designated
by the Board of Supervisors of Elections, on Monday and Tuesday,
the 9th and 10th of April, 1956, and on Monday and Tuesday, the
23rd and 24th of April, 1956, and shall register the names of voters
on the four days aforesaid. The registration of voters that shall
be made at the sittings above provided in April shall be used at the
primary election to be held in the said year 1956 as the sole list of
voters who may be entitled to vote at said primary. The registra-
tion of voters made under the provisions of this section shall super-
sede and thereafter be used in the place of the present registration
of voters in Talbot County.
