92(f). (Charles County) (1) In all elections in Charles
County, the use of voting machines shall be mandatory, beginning
with the primary election to be held in 1956, and it shall be the
duty of the County Commissioners of said County to purchase, rent,
lease or otherwise acquire and provide voting machines for all poll-
ing places in said County.
(2) This subsection is not intended to limit in any way the
powers conferred by subsection (a).
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

(Senate Bill 523)
AN ACT to repeal Section 314 of Article 18 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Queen Anne's
County", sub-title "Orphans' Court", repealing certain provisions
as to the compensation of the Judge of the Orphans' Court of
Queen Anne's County.
WHEREAS, This section relates to the compensation of the Judge
of the Orphans' Court of Queen Anne's County, and inasmuch as
the compensation of such Judges is now established by the Code of
General Laws, this section is obsolete and should be repealed.
SECTION 1. Be is enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 314 of Article 18 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Queen Anne's County" sub-title
"Orphans' Court", be and it is hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.
