AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 295 (a)
of the Charter and Public Local Laws of Baltimore City (1949
Edition), as amended by Chapter 725 of the Acts of 1953, title
"Baltimore City", sub-title "Criers, Bailiffs, Watchmen and Ste-
nographers", relating to the salaries of Bailiffs of certain Courts
in Baltimore City AND OF THE JURY COMMISSIONER AND
DEPUTY JURY COMMISSIONER THEREOF.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 295 (a) of the Charter and Public Local Laws of
Baltimore City (1949 Edition), as amended by Chapter 725 of the
Acts of 1953, title "Baltimore City", sub-title "Criers, Bailiffs,
Watchmen and Stenographers", be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, and to read as follows:
295 (a) The Treasurer of Baltimore City shall pay to the Bail-
iffs respectively of the Superior Court of Baltimore City, of the
Court of Common Pleas of Baltimore City, of the Baltimore City
Court, of the Circuit Court of Baltimore City, of the Circuit Court
No. 2 of Baltimore City, and the Criminal Court of Baltimpre City
the sum of not less than [Three Thousand Six Hundred Seventy-
five Dollars ($3,675.00)] four Thousand Dollars ($4000.00) nor
more than [four Thousand four Hundred Seventy-five Dollars
($4,475.00)] four Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars

FIVE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED
DOLLARS ($5,500.00) per annum, as determined and certified to by
the Supreme Bench of Baltimore City as and for their respective
salaries at the same time and in the same manner as is provided in
