"Clerks of Circuit Courts", said new section to be known as Section
68A and to follow immediately after Section 68 of said Article,
relating to the placing of certain information on the back of
instruments to be recorded in Talbot County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article 17 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Clerks of Courts",
sub-title "Clerks of Circuit Courts", said new section to be known
as Section 68A, to follow immediately after Section 68 of said Article,
and to read as follows:

68 A. Any person, firm or corporation offering for recordation in
the clerk's office of Talbot County any deed, mortgage, lease, agree-
ment, conditional sales contract or any other recordable instrument
shall be required by the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Talbot County
to have written, typed or printed on the back of all such instruments
to be readily visible when folded for filing in the appropriate drawer
or file provided therefor in the said clerk's office, (i) the names of
the parties to such instrument and (2) the nature or character of
such instrument; and whenever it shall be necessary for said clerk
to make, or have made, such entries thereon to comply with this
section, he shall be entitled to collect for recording such instrument,
from the person by whom the same is filed, a fee of fifty ($.50) cents
in addition to the fee for recording such instrument as is otherwise
provided by law.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

HUNDRED NINETY-FIVE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED
AND FIFTY DOLLARS ($9,195,750), the proceeds thereof to be
used for certain necessary building, construction, deferred main-
tenance, and equipment purposes of this State, for acquiring
certain land and providing generally for the issue and sale of
Certificates of Indebtedness evidencing such loan , AND MODI-
FYING THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 7 OF CHAPTER 7
OF THE ACTS OF 1954 AND OF SECTION 7 OF CHAPTER
780 OF THE ACTS OF 1953.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the Board of Public Works is hereby authorized and directed
