SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That any and all adoption or
other proceedings commenced or conducted under the provisions of
Article 16, Sections 78 and 82, Annotated Code of Maryland (1939
Edition), and under the provisions of Article 16, Sections 76, 77,
78, 79, 80, 86, 88, 89, 90 and 92 and 93 of said Article and Code
(1951 Edition, as amended), and any and all judgments, decrees or
orders had or rendered under such provisions between June 1, 1953,
and June 1, 1955, in the counties of Allegany, Calvert, Charles, Gar-
rett, St. Mary's and Washington, be and they are hereby declared to
be valid and effectual to all intents and purposes whatsoever, in so
far as they may have been of questionable validity and effect by rea-
son of any construction or result from the passage by the General
Assembly of Maryland of Chapter 225 of the Acts of 1953.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

(House Bill 32)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 259A of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Anne Arundel County (1947
Edition), being Article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title "Anne Arundel County", sub-title "County Com-
missioners", said section having been enacted by Chapter 569 of the
Acts of 1953, repealing

CERTAIN PAYMENTS TO THE ANNE
ARUNDEL COUNTY TRADE COUNCIL AND RELATING TO
THE MANNER AND PAYMENT OF CERTAIN OTHER SUMS
BY THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF ANNE ARUNDEL
COUNTY.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 259A of the Code of Public Local Laws of Anne Arundel
County (1947 Edition), being Article 2 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title "Anne Arundel County", sub-title "County
Commissioners", said section having been enacted by Chapter 569 of
the Acts of 1953, be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

259A. The County Commissioners of Anne Arundel County are
hereby authorized

Chamber of Commerce, THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE OF
DEALE AND SOUTHERN ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY [, The
Anne Arundel County Trade Council] and the Glen Burnie Chamber
