(b) The Clerk of the Court shall open a bank account in a Mont-
gomery County Bank in the name of the People's Court for Juvenile
Causes of Montgomery County and shall deposit therein promptly
upon receipt, all monies received by the Court on account of payments
made for the support of any child over whom the Court has exercised
jurisdiction, or for restitution of funds paid into the Court by or on
behalf of any child over whom the Court has exercised jurisdiction;
and the Clerk shall disburse at the direction of the Judge such funds
to the person or agencies entitled thereto at monthly intervals or
oftener as the Judge may direct.
(c) All fines, penalties, costs, and forfeitures imposed or taxed
by the Court shall be paid to the Clerk of the Court. The Clerk shall
promptly upon receipt thereof deposit all such monies with the Di-
rector of Finance.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That all laws or parts of laws,
whether public general or public local, inconsistent with the pro-
visions of this Act be and they are hereby repealed to the extent of
such inconsistency.
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That if any section, paragraph,
clause, sentence or part of this Act for any reason be adjudged to be
invalid, or unconstitutional, such judgment shall not affect, impair
or invalidate the remainder of this Act, but shall be confined in its
operation to the section, paragraph, clause, sentence or part thereof
directly involved in the controversy in which such judgments shall
have been rendered.
SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

(House Bill 325)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 289 of
Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (Ever-
stine's 1953 Edition), title "Prince George's County", sub-title
"Circuit Court", sub-heading "Stenographers", as said section
was amended by Chapter 128 of the Acts of 1951, authorizing each
of the judges of the Seventh Judicial Circuit resident in Prince
George's County to appoint a secretary, and providing for his
or her qualifications and compensation.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 289 of Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Prince George's County (Everstine's 1953 Edition), title "Prince
