ever, that any duly ordained minister of the Gospel shall not be sub-
ject to the residency requirements of this section.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

CHAPTER 147
(House Bill 247)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sub-section (f)
of Section 215 of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1951 Edition), title "Natural Resources", sub-title "Birds, Game
and Inland Water Fish", sub-heading "Regulations for Taking of
Game and Fresh Water Game Fish in Non-Tidal Waters", defining
a resident of the State and a resident of Garrett County for the
purposes of procuring an Angler's License.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sub-section (f) of Section 215 of Article 66C of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Natural Resources", sub-title
"Birds, Game and Inland Water Fish", sub-heading "Regulations for
Taking of Game and Fresh Water Fish in Non-Tidal Waters", be and
it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read1 as
follows:
215.
(f). for the purpose of this sub-heading, a resident shall be a per-
son who has resided in this State permanently for a period of not
less than six (6) months [.] during the preceding twelve (12) months.
Provided, however, that in Garrett County any person owning prop-
erty located in said county having an assessed valuation of $500, or
more, and also any member of his immediate family shall be treated
as a resident of Garrett County for the purposes of [this sub-head-
ing.] procuring a license to fish in Deep Creek Lake only and in no
other waters.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.
