SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby de-
clared to be an emergency measure and necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public health and safety and having been passed
by a yea and nay vote, supported by three-fifths of all the members
elected to each of the two Houses of the General Assembly of Mary-
land, the same shall take effect from the date of its passage.

Approved February 4, 1955.

CHAPTER 10
(Senate Bill 12)

AN ACT to repeal Section 312 of Article 66 1/2 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Motor Vehicles", sub-title
"Traffic Court of Baltimore City", repealing the provisions of said
section whereby an appeal from suspension of an operator's or
chauffeur's license by the Traffic Court of Baltimore City does
not stay the suspension of such operator's or chauffeur's license.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 312 of Article 66 1/2 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1951 Edition), title "Motor Vehicles", sub-title "Traffic Court of
Baltimore City", be and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

Approved February 22, 1955.
