SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

CHAPTER 125
(House Bill 243)

AN ACT to add Section 151A 151B to Article 66 1/2 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Motor Vehicles", sub-title
"Operation of Vehicles Upon Highways", said new section to fol-
low immediately after Section 151 151A thereof, giving to the
County Commissioners of Prince George's County certain powers
to regulate the speed of vehicles within said County and relating
generally to the administration and operation of such powers.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article 66 1/2 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Motor Vehicles,"
sub-title "Operation of Vehicles Upon Highways," said new section
to be known as Section 151A 151B, to follow immediately after Sec-
tion 151 151A thereof, and to read as follows:

151A 151B. Notwithstanding any other provisions of this Article,
the Board of County Commissioners of Prince George's County is au-
thorized and empowered to regulate the speed of vehicles on any
road, street, lane or alley within Prince George's County which is not
within the corporate limits of any incorporated city, town or village
and which has not been designated or maintained as a part of the
state or federal highway system or an extension thereof. The Board
of County Commissioners of Prince George's County also is author-
ized and empowered to provide for the payment of fines for a con-
viction for violating any such regulation made by it concerning the
speed of vehicles; any and all fines collected pursuant to the provi-
sions of this section shall be disposed of according to the .procedure
provided in Section 80S of this Article.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

Local Laws of Baltimore County (1948 Edition), being Article 3
