The Agent shall retain as compensation for issuing each of the
above licenses, the sum of Twenty-five Cents (25c) the balance of
said fee to be paid and accounted for as prescribed by law in this
Article, and the Agent shall deliver the license properly executed
to the applicant in person or by mail without further cost; said
licensee shall insert his or her name on the license in ink at the
time of purchase. Such license shall not be transferable and if used
or presented by any person other than the person to whom it was
issued, such license shall be confiscated by the Director, any Game
Warden, Constable or other officer who shall find such license being
used.
The penalty for any non-resident of the State of Maryland found
guilty of hunting on a Regulated Pheasant Shooting Area without
having first procured a license, or for refusing to show said license
when demanded by the Director, or any Game Warden, Sheriff,
Constable or other officer, or person, or failing to display the license
tag on his back as provided by law shall be the same as those
penalties set forth in Section 129.
Nothing herein contained shall prevent the holders of a Regular
Non-Resident Hunting license from hunting on Regulated Pheasant
Shooting Grounds by requiring them to obtain an additional license
as prescribed herein.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

(House Bill 216)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 98 of
Article 1 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Allegany County," sub-title "County Commission-
ers," as amended by Chapter 272 of the Acts of 1951, permitting
the County Commissioners of Allegany County to pay a sum of
money to the Allegany-Garrett Tuberculosis Association.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 98 of Article 1 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Allegany County/' sub-title "County
Commissioners/' as amended by Chapter 272 of the Acts of 1951, be
and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
98. The County Commissioners of Allegany County are authorized
to levy annually and collect from the assessable property in Allegany
County, as other taxes are levied and collected, a sum not to exceed
