SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect

CHAPTER 108
(Senate Bill 350)
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 19 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "St. Mary's County",
sub-title "County Commissioners", said new section to be known
as Section 59A and to follow immediately after Section 59 thereof,
authorizing the County Commissioners of St. Mary's County to
issue bonds not to exceed a certain amount for the construction
of an addition to, and the remodeling and equipping of the Court
House in St. Mary's County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article 19 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "St.
Mary's County", sub-title "County Commissioners", said new section
to be known as Section 59A, to follow immediately after Section 59
thereof, and to read as follows:
59A. The County Commissioners of St. Mary's County are hereby
authorized, in their discretion, to issue bonds, not to exceed Two
Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000.00) for the construction of an
addition to and remodeling of the St. Mary's County Court House,
and the equipping of the offices in such Court House.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

(Senate Bill 356)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 290 of
Article 93 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1954 Supplement),
title "Testamentary Law", sub-title "Register of Wills", providing
that the office of the register of wills for Caroline County may
be closed on Saturdays.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 290 of Article 93 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
