and to follow immediately after Section 210, thereof, and to read as
follows:

210A. (a) (Live-Bait Dealer's License.) Any person desiring
to sell live-bait in Montgomery County shall make application to the
Clerk of the Circuit Court of said county for a live-bait dealer's
license, the cost of which shall be Ten Dollars ($10.00) a year. The
application shall be in such form as the Game and Inland Fish
Commission may prescribe and shall contain an affidavit signed by
the applicant that he is a resident of Montgomery County. The Clerk
of the Circuit Court of Montgomery County or his agent, is author-
ized to issue to the applicant a license to be supplied to said Clerk
by the Director. The Clerk of the Circuit Court of Montgomery
County shall retain as compensation for issuing the above licenses
the sum of twenty-five cents (25c) and shall on the first day of
July, 1955, and on the first day of each and every month thereafter
transmit to the Game and Inland Fish Commission of the State all
monies received by him for licenses, and such funds shall be accounted
for by the said Commission to the Comptroller of the State.

(b)   The bait sold shall be only minnows, chubs measuring less
than six inches in length, and killifishes and must be procured from
the waters of the Potomac River only. The live-bait dealer shall not
possess more than 750 bait-fish of all types allowed at one time.

The bait boxes of the live-bait deal DEALER shall be open for
inspection by the Wardens at all reasonable times.

(c)   The live-bait dealer shall not sell more than thirty-five (35)
bait fish to any one person in any one day. No bait-fish shall be
transported out of Montgomery County or sold outside Montgomery
County by the licensee; and the purchaser from, the licensee may
not resell bait fish but may transport the bait-fish outside of Mont-
gomery County.

(d)  Any person found guilty of violating any of the provisions
of this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon
conviction before any Justice of the Peace of this State or Court
shall be fined not less than Twenty-Five Dollars ($25.00) nor more
than One Hundred Dollars ($100.00)
FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00)
and costs for each and every offense or sentenced to jail until said
fine and costs have been paid.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.
