which county taxes are levied. [; and the] The treasurer may receive
partial payments of taxes from any taxpayer in sums of not less than
ten dollars, but in no case shall he approve a deed for transfer until
all accrued taxes are paid on the entire account shown on the tax roll.
The treasurer violating any of the provisions of this section shall be
guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon indictment and conviction thereof
shall be fined in a sum not less than five hundred dollars.
580. It shall be the duty of the treasurer, as soon as

TO SUPERVISE AND
APPROVE THE PREPARATION OF EACH BILL OF EACH TAX-
PAYER, AND ON APPLICATION HE SHALL forward the bill by
mail or otherwise, or deliver the same to the person or persons or
corporations to whom the property included in said bills is assessed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

(House Bill 782)
AN ACT to add Section 24 to Article 27 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1951 Edition and 1954 Supplement), title "Crimes and
Punishments", under the new sub-title "Boats—Unlawful Use",
said new section to follow immediately after Section 23A thereof,
relating to the unlawful taking, tampering or damaging of boats,
craft or vessels and providing a penalty for the same.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 24 be and it is hereby added to Article 27 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition and 1954 Supplement), title
"Crimes and Punishments", under the new sub-title "Boats—Un-
lawful Use", said new section to follow immediately after Section
23A thereof, and to read as follows:
Boats—Unlawful Use
2b. Any person who wilfully MALICIOUSLY takes possession of,
operates, damages or tampers with any boat, craft or vessel, without
the consent of the owner, is guilty of a misdemeanor. Any person
who assists in such unauthorized taking, operating, damaging or
tampering is also guilty of a misdemeanor.
Every person convicted of a misdemeanor for violation of this
section shall be punished by a fine of not more than One Hundred
Dollars ($100) or by imprisonment for not more than ten (10) days,
or both.
