It shall be the duty of the State's Attorney in each county and in
Baltimore City to prosecute all violations of this section, and any
agency, institution or individual convicted of violating this section
shall be subject to a fine not to exceed One Hundred Dollars or to
imprisonment not to exceed three months, or both, for each offense.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1,1955.

ANNOTATED CODE OF MARYLAND (1951 EDITION), TITLE
"STATE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WELfaRE", SUB-TITLE
"CHILD CARE", SAID NEW SECTION TO FOLLOW IMME-
DIATELY AFTER SECTION 20 THEREOF, PROVIDING AS
TO BALTIMORE CITY FOR THOSE PERSONS AND ENTI-
TIES WHO MAY ASSIST IN THE PLACEMENT OF CHIL-
DREN FOR ADOPTION AND THE CIRCUMSTANCES AND
MANNER OF SUCH PLACEMENTS.
