To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:
I, CLAUDE B. HELLMANN, SECRETARY OF STATE OF THE STATE OF
MARYLAND, pursuant to the direction contained in Section 210 of
Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition) DO
HEREBY CERTIFY, That at a Special Election held in the Tenth Election
District of Prince George's County on September 23, 1957, an Act
known as Chapter 788 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Mary-
land of 1957, was submitted to the voters of the Tenth Election Dis-
trict of Prince George's County, for their adoption or rejection under
the provisions of Chapter 788 of the Acts of 1957, said Act being as
follows:
"Providing for an annual fire tax within the Tenth Election Dis-
trict, outside the corporate limits of the Town of Laurel, in
Prince George's County, and relating to the disposition of said
tax and providing for a referendum thereon".
AND I DO CERTIFY, that at said election held in the Tenth Election
District of Prince George's County, 71 votes were cast in favor of the
adoption of Chapter 788 of the Acts of 1957 and 35 votes were cast
against the adoption thereof, and a majority of the votes being cast
in favor of the adoption of said Chapter 788 of the Acts of 1957, the
said Act has been ratified by the voters of the Tenth Election District
of Prince George's County, Maryland.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto subscribed my
