MARYLAND, Sct:
At a Session of the General Assembly of Maryland, begun and held
in the City of Annapolis on the Fifth day of February,
1958, and Ending on March 6, 1958, Theodore R. McKeldin,
being Governor of the State, the following Laws were
enacted, to wit:
CHAPTER 1
(House Bill 253)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 102, Sub-
sections (b), (d), (e), and (f) of Article 77 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1956 Supplement), title "Public Education", sub-title
"Chapter 8. Teachers' Certificates, Salaries and Pensions"; Sec-
tion 153, Sub-sections (d), (e), and (i) of said Article, sub-title
"Chapter 11. County Superintendent of Schools"; and Section
213 of said Article, sub-title "Chapter 19. Source and Distribution
of Income", providing for the minimum schedule of salaries to be
paid to public school teachers, principals, supervising teachers, and
other personnel in this State for the school year 1957-58 and there-
after; making general provision for the details of such salary pay-
ments; and generally amending the laws of this State concerning
public school teachers AND STATE AID TO PUBLIC EDUCA-
TION IN THIS STATE;
