"Administration—Registration—Titling", and to enact in lieu
thereof new Section 91 (h), to follow immediately after Section 91
(g) of said Article, relating to the issuance of motor vehicle driv-
ers' licenses to deaf persons.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,,
That Section 91 (h) of Article 66 1/2 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1957 Edition), title "Motor Vehicles", sub-title "Administra-
tion—Registration—Titling", be and it is hereby repealed, and new
Section 91 (h) be and it is hereby enacted in lieu thereof, to follow
immediately after Section 91 (g) of said Article, to read as follows:

91.

(h) An applicant who is unable to hear may be granted a restric-
ted license, stamped accordingly, limiting the licensee to the opera-
tion of vehicle equipped with two properly adjusted rear mirrors,
namely, one outside mirror on the driver's side of the car, and one
inside the car.

Sec 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1958.

Approved April 4, 1958.

CHAPTER 50
(Senate Bill 72)

AN ACT to waive the provisions of Section 708 (q) of Article 66C of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), and to waive any
other applicable State law, for a period of one year, in order to
provide that any citizen of Maryland who holds a current license
for the taking or catching of oysters with tongs mako MAY take
or catch oysters on any lands leased for the purpose of planting
and cultivating oysters, with the written permission of the lessee
of such lands, and relating generally to such waiver.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That for a period of one year, beginning on June 1, 1958, and ending
on May 31, 1959, the provisions of Section 708 (q) of Article 66C of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), and also the pro-
visions of any other applicable State law, be and the same are hereby
waived to the extent necessary to permit any citizen of Maryland who
holds a current license for the taking or catching of oysters by tongs
to take or catch oysters from any lands leased for the purpose of
planting and cultivating oysters, with the written permission of the
lessee of such lands. Such waiver shall be only for the purpose indi-
cated hereinaboye and all other applicable rules and regulations con-
cerning the taking or catching of oysters from such lands shall con-
tinue to be applicable in all respects.
