BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the inspector of. Pile's ware-house
be, and he is hereby authorised and required to make
out a new note corresponding with the note herein
described, and deliver the same to the said Matilda
Turner, of the city of Baltimore, or to her order.

An act to repeal an act entitled, An act to change
the name of George-Town Cross-Roads in Kent
county.

WHEREAS, It has been represented to this Gen-
eral Assembly, by the memorial of sundry inhabi-
tants of Kent county, in the neighbourhood of a vil-
lage formerly called George Town Cross-Roads,
stating that the name of said village had been chang-
ed by an act of the Legislature of Maryland, passed
at November session eighteen hundred and eleven,
chapter 119, to that of Colchester, to their injury, and
praying that the said law may be repealed, and that
the said village may regain its former name: There-
fore,

BE IT EN ACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the act entitled, An act to change
the name of Georgetown Cross-Roads in Kent
county, passed at November session eighteen hun-
dred and eleven, be, and the same is hereby repealed
annulled and made void.

SEC. 1. BE IT ENACTED by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That John Creswell, Samuel
C. Hall and Lawrence M'Comb, of Cecil county;
John Stump, Junr. John Archer and James Steven-
son, of Harford county, be, and they are hereby ap-
pointed commissioners, and they or a majority of
them are hereby required and directed, as soon as
may be after the passage of this act, to proceed to the
river Susquehannah and fix upon a scite for a bridge
at such point on said river, at or near the head of the
tide water, or Keer's Island near Rock-run, as to
them shall appear most proper, and the said commis-
sioners or a majority of them shall, as soon as they
